Tapolca is situated in the west part of the Balaton highlands. Below the hotel there is a karstic cave, which is not only a beautiful sight, but also offers a special microclimate and curative treatments. HUNGUEST Hotel Pelion is situated in the city centre, in a 4-acre-large park, directly above the cave, ideal for curing respiratory diseases. Unique in Europe is the direct connection between the hotel and the grotto.

Number of rooms: 228, of which 212 double rooms, 8 suites, 4 suites with jacuzzi. There are 4 rooms for physically disabled persons. All rooms have television (HBO), telephone, Iternet access and minibar. The bathrooms have bath-tub/shower and toilet. There are rooms for non-smoking guests and rooms with parquet. Most of the rooms have a loggia. The hotel is fully air-conditioned.
